Booking Terms & FAQs
By booking a course or workshop with Pebble Beach Writing, you agree to the following terms.
Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
Who our courses are for
Most classes and courses are mixed-level and writers of all levels and experience are welcome. For some courses, such as our Fiction Workshop, we will ask to see a sample of your writing to ensure this is the right course for you.
Cancellations by participants
If you need to cancel your place on WRITING A NOVEL, WRITING FROM LIFE or FICTION WORKSHOP after the payment deadline stated at the time of booking, refunds will only be issued if we are able to fill your place. If we are able to do so, an 80% refund will be issued.
If no replacement participant can be found, no refund will be given.
If a similar course is running at a later date, we may offer the option to transfer your booking. Transfers are offered at our discretion and are subject to availability.
Cancellations or changes by Pebble Beach Writing
If we need to cancel a class, we will aim to reschedule it to another date. If a suitable date cannot be agreed, we may offer the class online or provide an alternative online one-to-one session where appropriate.
If none of these options are suitable, we will offer a refund.
Suitability and participation
We reserve the right to decline participation if a course is deemed unsuitable following review of a writing sample or other relevant information.
Payment
Payment is required to confirm a booking. The preferred method of payment is bank transfer.

Course details (including structure, timings and content) may vary between individual courses. Full details are provided at the time of booking or in advance of each course.
These terms form the basis of your agreement with Pebble Beach Writing.
