Course Information:
There are currently two Fiction Workshop courses.
1. Tuesdays, 7-9pm.
January 10th – March 14th (no class on February 14th).
Venue: the studio, Ralli Hall, Denmark Villas, Hove, BN3 3TH.

2. Saturdays, 11am–1pm.
January 21st – March 25th (no class on February 18th).
Venue: Brighton Girls GDST, Montpelier Road, Brighton, BN1 3AT.

Course fee: £350
The course will run with a maximum of 7 participants.
The fee includes a 45-minute individual tutorial.
This is an MA-style workshop for writers who want to make serious progress with their writing project in a supportive and engaging environment. Participants' writing, submitted in advance each week, will form the basis of the sessions and you will receive detailed editorial feedback on your work. This means you will also spend time reading the work of fellow participants and honing your editorial skills.
The first session will be an introductory one. Thereafter, two participants will submit up to 5,000 words of fiction a week in advance of each session. Everyone will have the opportunity to submit 10,000 words during the course (depending on numbers, this may be organised differently and there may be an opportunity to submit more). If you prefer, your second submission could be a revised version of the first. This is a great way to focus on developing technique and learning how to use feedback when you rewrite and edit.
You can reserve your place by paying a non-refundable deposit of £50. Full payment for the course is due two weeks before the start date. After this, refunds cannot be made unless we are able to fill all course places, in which case we will refund of 80% of the fee. If, for any reason, we have to cancel the course, you will of course receive a full refund.
