In our next session (Monday 29th November) we'll look at place and atmosphere as they relate to memory and imagination. What you write doesn't have to be a ghost story (though it could be!) but the session will be an exploration of how we're haunted by places familiar and unfamiliar.
We'll look at technique and how to write scenes full of atmosphere.
Bring a cuppa and your notebook and pen. You won't have to read your work aloud but we will sometimes break into smaller groups for discussion.
The session is suitable for writers of all levels, genres and experience. You could use it to develop brand new material or to add layers and scenes to your work in progress.
